well, it’s not really a snow storm, but the strong 100 km/h (lol) wind makes it a storm.
I wanted to capture beautiful Delft in storm, so here it is …
part 1 > the university
wind still ok, snow falls like heaven, beautiful (poetry failed)
willow blown by evil EWI wind
my lovely faculty of bouwkunde
is this supposed to be my bouwkunde building? (detail) hmm suspicious…
and the building looks awesomer then Julianalaan, dammit
part 2 > the city
Delft is so beautiful, and one of my aspiration is to take a picture of the 2 church towers during snow time.. well :
yay!
and other impressive landmark in Delft
the gate thing, the statue thing, and the museum thing..
part 3 > the park
this time the wind blows like crazy, I have to protect meself under the bridge occasionally to clean my shirt (and my camera) out of accumulating ice.
me as an Inuit (keep it small so the blemish is not apparent :P)
deer composition has never been so wonderful
bird, stay ! stay ! NOOOO !!
by the lake shore (there’s lake there)
this picture will always haunt me, because at this moment I couldn’t feel my finger anymore, wind blows like hell, my face was all white, and no place to hide from the hitting frozen water molecules.
part 4 > go back before dark or risk being caught by police for not bringing bike lamps.
have to go back anyway, poor camera is cold …
I’m coming home … to the place where I belong (Daughtry theme song lol)
THE END
